제4회 CATK 연례 학술대회 초록 모집 공고 (Call for Proposal)

We are pleased to announce that the fourth annual conference of the Canadian Association of Teachers of Korean (CATK) will be held onAugust 23, 2020 (Tuesday). The conference will be held in Delta Hotel in Ottawa, ON and via Zoom simultaneously as last year. Both presenters and attendees can participate in either format.

With the theme "Implementing Standard-based Teaching, Learning, and Assessment in Korean Education," the 4th annual CATK meeting invites proposals on discussions of standardization of curriculum of Korean language education in Canada. In line with this year's theme, we invited Professor Hae-Young Kim from Duke University for a keynote speech. We also welcome proposals and abstracts that discuss other aspects of learning and teaching of the Korean language and/or culture.

(1) Conference Paper: Presentation of research on topics pertaining to teaching and learning of Korean. The abstract should include clearly-stated research motives and objectives, description of data and analysis, and discussion of implications for teaching and future research.

(2) Teaching Material Exchange: Presentations of original and classroom-tested teaching materials and/or activities. The abstract should include a description of target learners, objectives of instruction, the materials, and its effect in learning.
